About
Welcome to Taqueria Los Charros, a hidden gem nestled in Dickinson, Texas. Located at 4200 State Hwy 3, this charming food truck setup in a gas station parking lot promises an authentic taste of Mexico that will keep you coming back for more. With a phone number of +1 832-870-8962, reaching out for takeout or to inquire about their menu is just a call away!
As you step up to the window, the friendly ambiance greets you. Patrons rave about the quesadillas and charro beans, highlighting the delightful flavors and freshness that characterize every dish. Christina Martin remarked on the freshness of her order, praising the birria tacos which come with a well-crafted thinner consommé accompanied by vibrant toppings like white onion, cilantro, grilled onions, and spicy jalapeños. It’s a flavor explosion that embodies the essence of street food!
Don’t overlook the street tacos, which also come highly recommended. They are paired perfectly with a green sauce that packs just the right amount of heat, ensuring an exciting culinary experience with each bite. Hobs has declared these to be the best birria tacos on this side of town, and after tasting them, you might find yourself in agreement!
While the focus is on the traditional flavors of Mexico, be aware that not all items may hit the mark. For instance, Maria Fernandez's experience with wings was less favorable, noting their soggy texture. This serves as a gentle reminder to stick to what the taqueria does best — authentic Mexican fare that shines on the menu.
In conclusion, Taqueria Los Charros is more than just a food truck; it’s a flavorful escape that invites you to indulge in classic dishes within the welcoming atmosphere of Dickinson. The marriage of authenticity, taste, and friendly service makes it a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Mexican cuisine. Whether you opt for their birria tacos, torta cubana, or those delicious charro beans, each visit promises to be a delightful culinary journey!
“ Best birra tacos I have had on this side of town.. hands down!! ”
“ Real friendly staff. We liked the quesadillas and beans. We will go back ”
“ We had the birria tacos, the torta cubana and those were pretty good. And yes the charro beans were good! but don’t go if you’re craving wings ( we ordered the mango habanero and buffalo flavor ) both were deceiving, looked like they were gonna be crispy but they were soggy. ”
“ Ordered a pickup order and it was fresh and ready when we got there. It’s a cute little food truck in the gas station parking lot. Delicious Birria tacos with a thinner consumme and all of the toppings like white onion, cilantro, grilled onions and grilled jalapeños. The street tacos were fantastic and we loved the accompanying green sauce on both. Spicy and tasty! ”
